According to The Grape Juice, Jennifer Lopez has scrapped her new single "Louboutins". Even after her "Comeback Performance" at the AMAs. You know the one...The one where she took a tumble and got up like a champ, but u could tell everybody was fired after it...LOL!
With Jennifer Lopez’s comeback single ‘Louboutins’ currently struggling to chart, reliable sources have informed That Grape Juice that 40 year old’s label have scrapped the single in its entirety – no video, no iTunes release, no nothing. Instead, her team are deeming ‘Louboutins’ a ‘buzz single’ (sound familar?) and are gearing up for the release of an entirely new ‘first official single’ – set to be rolled out early 2010. Lopez’s new LP ‘Love?‘ is still scheduled for a March 2010 release.

God, have I been blessed! Blessed enough to be safe in a covering of beautifully talented individuals. A lot of people ask me everyday what do I do. They say, "You look like someone important. What do you do?" Well, for those who do not know what I do, I am apart of a group of "Creative Collectives" called SALT. SALT is the brainchild of Abe and Reiko Clark to help push their artist, Micah Kiyo. SALT eventually will turn into a full fledged label. A label full of "Anti-Industry" heads. We are all passionate about our work, and what we see for ourselves in the future. We do not go by what's hot, or politically correct. We go by the vision God gave us. We are all tested, tried, and trusted. It's more than a working relationship, we are like family. We pray with each other, fellowship, debate, create, cry, and love on each other. Hopefully, we can become a new way to do things.

"im tired of this sh*t. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f**k do i gotta do... ... yeah i said it and i aint retracting shit im not biting my tongue about shit else... the industry can kiss my ass," read messages posted.
He also noted specifically that he "JUST WAS AT WALMART IN Wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back... not on shelves, saw for myself.
A survey and store visits find that Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Trans World, Newbury Comics are all carrying the Brown record and sources say that his album received widespread distribution and promotion by his label, Jive Records, and his distributor, Sony Music Entertainment. Jive shipped over 400,000 units of "Graffiti," and also had it positioned in prime stores space at all key accounts, according to sources. In fact, sources suggest that Jive may have overshipped his record, as sales are slow.
'Overstocked'
"Not only am I carrying it, I am over carrying it, because it isn't selling," says the head of purchasing at one large chain. "I wish I could return it." He says the album's first week sales only reached 40% of expectations. At 27-unit Newbury Comics, Carl Mello head of purchasing, echoes that sentiment. "We have it; it's not selling much."
He says the chain never even considered boycotting Brown -- an accusation leveled by the artist on Twitter. Brown pleaded guilty to charges in connection with his attack of former girlfriend Rihanna in February, just before the Grammy Awards show. "We never considered not bringing it in," Mello says. "If we stopped bringing in records from every unsavory character that puts out an album, there would be tumbleweed floating around our stores."
When ordering the record, Mello says he took into account Brown's altercation with Rihanna from a sales perspective, only. After saying, "Let's see what has happened with his sales since the incident," Mello reports that "Exclusive," which was issued in November 2007, sold 11 copies chainwide in October 2008, 8 copies in November, 5 units un January, 4 in February, 2 in March, and 0 copies in April, May and June. "From July until now, we have sold 3 copies," Mello adds. "When you see an artist is going to release a new album and then you go back and see these kind of sales, alarm bells go off. You don't feel over confident about bringing in a lot of records."
Nevertheless, "we brought in the new album because you know you are going to sell some," Mello says. "We let the consumer vote on it."
And so far, consumers aren't flocking to stores to vote on behalf of Brown. Sources project that Brown sold about 100,000 units last week, well below the 150,000-175,000 units he was expected to sell. Mello says that the album is probably about the No. 40 best-selling title at the chain.
Even Wal-Mart -- which was singled out by Brown on Twitter as one of the so-called merchants boycotting his record because the Wallingford, Conn., store didn't have it in stock -- says they are carrying the Brown album. "We are surprised at the comments on Twitter, since all Walmart stores carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford store mentioned in the post. This store had in fact sold through their copies over the weekend. The majority of our stores are showing today they have copies on hand." Likewise Billboard found plenty of Brown in stock at Best Buy in Union Square and on Broadway by Houston Street, in Manhattan, as well as at the J&R Music World superstore in downtown Manhattan. Jive declined to comment.

OK! It's been a lot going on!!!! I've been toying with internal conflicts, as well as business conflicts. Renovation of my house, job searches, and mainly just trying to keep myself from driving myself crazy. God told me this blog is going to be one of the top blogs out there, so I will trust in his words and keep it moving. This will also be my venting tool, but enough of that.

-Beyonce is the leader of Grammy Nominations with 10 nods. TEN!!!!! OMG!!!! WHY?! "I Am...Sasha Fierce" was NOT that good...but honestly she is top billing right now, even if she is a one-trick pony, people like that ONE TRICK! HMPH! WHITNEY HOUSTON, who had a better album was SHUT OUT from the Grammy committee! I guess her comeback is running out of steam. Yeah, Beyonce is a GREAT entertainer, but when is her music going to live up to the hype?!
-Vibe Magazine is back! The Hip Hop entertainment mag shut down earlier this year, but was brought back to life, and re-vamped to keep up with the times. The "Comeback" issue will have Chris Brown and Drake on 2 different covers. Go Cop That! Vibe is an inspiration for me. I read like EVERY issue. It's a magazine that you ACTUALLY can read. They have great stories and they were ahead of their time.
-Fantasia has a new reality show on VH1. The show is called "Fantasia For Real", and it is set to premiere on Jan. 11th, 2010. I am excited about this show. My homie, Toye Adedipe is Fantasia stylist, and he is doing a remarkable job on making sure she looks good. He is set to be apart of the show as well. Check him out at toyeadedipe.blogspot.comHappy Thanksgiving to you all! I have been so busy in my own little world, I keep forgetting about what's important (Like this blog)...lol. Please spend time with your friends and family, and remember to be grateful for what God has given you. It could be a lot worse than it really is...
Today, Toni Braxton premiered her new clip on her official website.
Here is a clip of Priscilla Renea doing an acoustic version of "Mr. Workabee", a song off her new album "Jukebox". In Stores December 1st. This song is close to my heart, because My homegirl Vee wrote it. I remember when she came up with the idea and her RAPPING it to me at IHOP...LOL! Congrats Vee Vee your first placement!!!! Love Ya!!!!
Last night Janet Jackson's ABC special aired. It was refreshing to see Janet on television again. She has a quiet strength about her, that's reaffirming without being brute, or dishonest. I know it's hard losing a family member, especially since her and Michael were so close. You can tell she really loved him and worried about her well being. I still can't believe he's not here. I don't think it's fair at all! But things happen for a reason. I love how genuine and personal this interview is. Her smile still melts the room. It's funny how she say's she didn't like her smile. She has one of the best smiles in the business. She's still one of my all time favorite artist, and I think she's hungry again to be back on top. Check out the interview below....
I have neglected my blog for TWO days!!!! I feel like a horrible parent or something. I had so much going on, but I'm back on it. Just pray for me please! :-)
Shakira! Shakira! When simplicity works...IT WORKS! Who else loves Shakira dancing with a sea of chocolate women?! And then there's Lil' Wayne...Did Nivea have the baby yet?!
Timbaland has released a sneak peak of his new clip, "Morning After Dark", featuring Nelly Furtado and his new artist, SoShy. This song and the video is supposed to be inspired by the vampire flick, "Twilight". I love the song! I just pray the video lives up to the hype...
Here is the video for the "Video Phone" remix. It looks like a drag show to me, and drag shows scare me! (No Offense to anybody that does that, just not my thing)...and this is typical Gaga fashion, but we get to see an over-the-top Beyonce'...still uninteresting. Bey is looking thick tho :-)
There are many speculators, but I think Janet can make a comeback. Especially with the death of Michael Jackson, she is the closet to claim his throne (The have the same genetic make up...LOL).
Lady Gaga and Beyonce' has teamed up for not one, but two new releases. One is a remix to Beyonce's "Video Phone", which is her new single. The clip for the song should premiere on Tuesday. The remix doesn't add or subtract from the song itself. The only thing I really like is the intro, but that's about it. Gaga's verse seems a little bit out of place, and let's not get on her trying to do Bey's runs...*SIGH*
Today, Chris Brown dropped by "The Wendy Williams" show to premiere his new video (funny his video drops the same day as Rihanna's). His clip for his new single "Crawl", and his interview with Wendy, was all about redemption. The video is nice, and he showed some sincerity for once about the incident between him and Rihanna. I am rooting for Chris as well as Rihanna. I think they're both young and talented people. I just can't wait for the day this whole thing becomes just a memory, and these two can REALLY move on with their lives...
The new video from Rihanna, "Russian Roulette" was leaked today, as was her new album "Rated R". The clip for "Russian Roulette" was supposed to premiere tonight on ABC's "20/20", but once it hit the net, it spread like wildfire. Check it out below...

I personally think it is better than the one that was posted earlier this week.
When I started this blog one of my initial intentions was to do my part to keep the Gospel music industry entertaining. As of late, I haven’t had to do much of anything and things have progressed from entertaining to outright shocking.
The men of the Gospel industry have been keeping me VERY busy fielding emails from readers who are catching wind of their questionable actions. I’ve pondered for a while now about whether I should address this topic, but I guess I won’t prolong this.
Everyone has been whispering about – though most media outlets have refrained from covering – what is going on with Gospel singer Tye Tribbett and Christian rapper Da’ T.R.U.T.H. Like me, I am sure the other gospel sites have seen the countless queries in the search engine where readers are looking to find out details about their quiet scandals.
As unbiased as I can be, let me attempt to report the facts from what I’ve gathered thus far. Earlier this year, Tye, one of the industry’s top Gospel acts was apparently caught having an extramarital affair with a member of his choir. Supposedly his wife discovered the affair around Mother’s Day, of all holidays. The girl wasn’t just a member of Tye’s Greater Anointing choir, but she also happened to be the baby’s mother of one his best friends, who also sings in the group. Made your eyebrow raise, huh?
After getting caught, Tye went on a 60-day sabbatical of consecration in an effort to get right with God. The question most people were asking was simple, “Did he take the sabbatical because he felt guilty for participating in an ongoing affair or was this a real attempt to repent for his backslidden state?”
The problem here is that Tye had been extremely vocal (read: judgmental) about a lot of things, particularly things pertaining to mainstream music and culture. For nearly two years, Tye preached a sermon during concerts where he openly rebuked everyone from Beyonce to Omarion as he told concertgoers that their “secular” music would cause them “death.” His “Life or Death” message also challenged believers not to wear clothes by rappers like Sean “Diddy” Combs (Sean John) and Jay-Z (Roc-A-Wear) because you “carry their spirits” and “you don’t know the spirit behind these guys.”
There are several ironies here. One being that Tye himself built his career on working with “secular” acts ranging from Faith Hill to Justin Timberlake. His deal at Sony Music came via a production deal with the same R&B label that signed neo-soul singer Vivian Green. Additionally, the other irony is that apparently for a good portion of the time in which Tye was casting stones at mainstream music’s finest, he had some extracurricular spirits of his own that he was participating in – the main one being adultery! (The old saying goes: “What’s done in the dark will come to the light.”)
If you have noticed, we haven’t heard so much as a PEEP from Tye since about May, except that awkward video interview with The Belle Report where they danced around the issue and his CNN appearance where he challenged PJ Morton’s music. I find it very interesting that the man crowned as one of the most outspoken Gospel artists in the industry hasn’t mumbled a single word about his own transgressions. For even the Bible in Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Translation: If he can call out other people’s sins, the least he could do is come clean about his own. Wouldn’t that be true ministry?
Since Tye never publicly addressed this issue, most media outlets ignoring the story, and Tye’s publicist not honoring requests for comment, I figured things would quiet down and folks would move on.
Well, apparently not. Last week my search engine was abuzz again with queries about Gospel rapper, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. For those who don’t know, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. is a Stellar Award winner who happens to be Tye’s mentee. On his personal website, the rapper posted a message that he was taking a sabbatical. He announced that he was removing himself from the limelight for an indefinite period of time because of a “moral indiscretion.” (See his full statement on www.DaTruth.net )
I am not a fan of Christian Hip-Hop and couldn’t tell you the name of one song by Da Truth, however, I was aware that he, like Tye, had a pretty vocal stance towards mainstream music and during an interview on BET’s Lift Every Voice, he spoke about music producers who create both gospel and non-gospel music and declared God wasn’t pleased.
Apparently Da’ T.R.U.T.H.’s “indiscretion” was an extramarital affair of his own. As the facts are slowly unfolding, and as much as it sounds like an episode of the Young & The Restless, the affair was allegedly with Tribett’s wife Shante. Yes, you read that correctly!
Confused? Well, here’s the recap in a nutshell: Tye cheated on his wife with a choir member who was his good friend’s baby’s mother. Da’ T.R.U.T.H., Tye’s mentee, cheated with Tye’s wife. And it’s all going on in gospel. Who would have thought?
Though I wasn’t a participant in any of these outrageous affairs, I know I’ll get countless e-mails from readers telling me I’m wrong for writing this story. I was almost hung and dang near shot for writing an unfavorable CD review a few weeks ago. But criticism aside, the bigger picture here is that none of us are exempt from the deception of the devil. We are all sinners and the devil’s goal is to get us off course and make us look like fools; some of us just make it a lot easier for him to do it!
I hope that in the end, other artists and ministers of the gospel will learn from Tye and Da’ T.R.U.T.H. and stop condemning and judging people so radically without compassion. But now, both of these brothers need everyone to forgive them and not forever hold their sins over their heads.
We serve a God that has the power to redeem us from our sin sick ways and God’s grace is enough to forgive us for ANYTHING we’ve done. There is nothing we can do or say that will separate us from the Love of God. Now, that doesn’t mean God isn’t disappointed with our actions and there won’t be consequences, but we will be forgiven.
So as you read this, I hope your first reaction is not to condemn the parties involved or even condemn me for speaking on it, but to pray and lift everyone up in prayer that God will renew a right spirit within each one of their lives and that they will repent and come out pure as Gold.
Scriptures to reflect on:
But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him. Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. (1 John 2:5-6) NIV
For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23) NIV
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2) NIV
See also Colossians 1:9-11 & Colossians 2:6-8
I personally want, everyone who is affected by this, to hear what God is saying in all of this, and find peace about it. Everybody has their cross to bare. We just have to love each other, and not judge each other, because you never know when your skeletons will peak out the closet. God forgives and he forgave...and so should we!
Chris Brown was heckled last night at what appears to be an autograph signing. Looks like people haven't let him beating Rihanna go yet. My thing is if Rihanna is moving forward about it, we should too. He has apologized and is getting help, so why hold hold this over his head?! I don't know...Anyway, check out this foolishness below...
After rumors swirling around that Capitol records halted promotion for Letoya's latest album, "Lady Love", Letoya FINALLY releases her MUCH anticipated, Tank produced clip for "Regret". "Regret" is one of the BEST, and STRONGEST songs on her album. It only made sense for it to be a single. Another rumor is Letoya paid for the video herself. I don't know if it's true or not, but she needs her money back. When listening to the song, I expected a stronger storyline, and maybe a little more confrontation with the guy, but I guess you get what you pay for. It's sad that Capitol has dropped the ball on this album. I think it's one of the best R&B albums to come out this year. You can tell Letoya isn't letting her label stop her from making money. She has two films coming out next year, "The Preacher's Kid", also starring Tank and Kierra Sheard, and "Five Killers" starring Ashton Kutcher and Usher.
Here is the new video from Diddy's Group, Dirty Money. This video is a throwback to the big budget late 90s/early millennium videos, in which Diddy was famous for. I'm happy Kaleena opens up the song, because she was vocally absent from the previous song, "Angels". Check it out below. Please tell me what you think about it. I may hold my comment until further notice...
Rihanna will debut her new video "Russian Roulette" on 20/20 this Friday November 13th. Check the preview for it below...
I got this video from Vibe.com
Melanie Fiona is a force to be reckoned with!!!!
To me, she is a cross between Amy Winehouse and Keyshia Cole.
You can tell, from the passion in her voice, that she has been through a lot in her short 23 years of life. This song is amazing and so is this performance.
And if you don't have it, go pick up her album "The Bridge". IN STORES NOW!!!!
I LOVE Amerie! I've been a fan since day one! Even though nowadays I feel her sound is slacking, but she still can bring it to you live. I think she is just as good as Beyonce live...She is now dealing with label politics and, lack of label backing, which prompted her album to debut at #46 on the Billboard charts this week, with a measly 12,421 copies sold.
I just wish this performance compared to the passion I see in her eyes and how much she wants this. I think "Higher" should be the next single. It will give her a new audience...*SIDE NOTE* THE BAND KILLED!!!! OMG!!!!!
Please pick up her new album "In Love and War" in stores now!!!
Lady Gaga's new video for "Bad Romance" was released today.
This new video by Tahj Mowry is a HARD cry to be taken seriously as an artist...

Today is the day I FINALLY start my blog...
